The DJI Matrice 4 Enterprise features a wide-angle camera with a 4/3 CMOS sensor, 20MP effective pixels, and a mechanical shutter, perfect for capturing detailed imagery. It also includes a medium tele camera with a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor and 48MP effective pixels, and a tele camera with a 1/1.5″ CMOS sensor, offering 48MP resolution and impressive optical zoom for remote inspections.

The integrated Laser Range Finder provides a measurement range of 1800 meters with ±(0.2 + 0.0015 × D) accuracy, making precise measurements and area calculations possible, even in complex scenarios such as wildfire monitoring or inspection tasks.

AI-powered intelligent operations make the Matrice 4 series more efficient. The built-in AI model can detect vehicles, vessels, and subjects, ideal for search and rescue operations or routine flights. It supports dynamic model switching, offering expanded AI applications. Additionally, it provides high-resolution grid photos and advanced tracking features.

For more accurate measurements, the laser range finder enables tasks like pinpointing target locations or calculating areas. These features enhance collaboration by allowing users to share information via the DJI Pilot QR code or FlightHub 2. The observation range recording feature on DJI Pilot 2 helps users track the camera’s center position and surveyed areas, which is especially useful for patrols in areas lacking clear landmarks.

For capturing details from a distance, the enhanced medium telephoto camera detects small features such as screws and cracks during inspections, while the super resolution telephoto camera offers 48MP resolution to capture intricate details from up to 250 meters away. Foreground stabilization ensures clear, stable imagery even when zooming in at 10x or higher, while electronic dehazing improves image clarity in challenging environmental conditions like smog or humidity.

When it comes to precision mapping, the Matrice 4E supports rapid 0.5-second interval shooting and 5-directional oblique capture, significantly enhancing efficiency in aerial surveying. The 3-directional ortho capture mode reduces lateral overlap, making it possible to map large areas with fewer flights. Smart 3D Capture offers precise modeling by quickly generating detailed structures based on rough models, and Distortion Correction 2.0 improves accuracy by correcting residual distortion.

The system’s Auto-Generated Surveying Operation Report provides a comprehensive survey quality report upon completion of an operation, helping users monitor key parameters such as RTK status and photo points.

For safe operations, the Matrice 4 series features Fusion Positioning with GNSS+Vision Fusion, which ensures safe return-to-home functionality even in environments with weak GNSS signals. The DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller provides intelligent guidance for terrain elevation and obstacle avoidance, making it ideal for night flights or navigating mountainous areas.

Achieving new heights in video transmission, the O4 Enterprise system provides up to 25 kilometers of range, with an improved bitrate and enhanced signal stability. The optional DJI Cellular Dongle 2 adds 4G image transmission for even more reliable operation in challenging environments.
